Suspension Due to Force Majeure. In the event the performance by ------------------------------- Armkel or C&D of its respective duties or obligations hereunder is interrupted or interfered with by reason of any cause beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, fire, storm, flood, earthquake, explosion, war, strike or labor disruption, rebellion, insurrection, quarantine, "act of God," boycott, embargo, shortage or unavailability of supplies or services, riot, or governmental law, regulation or edict (collectively, a "Force Majeure Event"), ------------------- the Party affected by such Force Majeure Event shall not be deemed to be in default of this Agreement by reason of its nonperformance of its obligations hereunder to the extent due to such Force Majeure Event, but shall give prompt written notice to the other Party of the Force Majeure Event. If, as soon as, and to the extent that the Force Majeure Event no longer interrupts a Party's performance of its obligations hereunder, its interrupted obligations shall accrue from such point forward under the terms of this Agreement.
