Common use of SUSPENSION OF WORK FOR FAULT OF THE CONTRACTOR Clause in Contracts

SUSPENSION OF WORK FOR FAULT OF THE CONTRACTOR. Should the Contractor fail to comply with the orders of the Authority relative to any particular parts of the work, the Authority may suspend the work on any or all parts until its orders respecting the particular parts are complied with. In case of such suspension, which shall be considered due to the fault of the Contractor, no extension of time shall be given and no allowance will be made for the expenses incurred by the Contractor during the suspension period.
