Clear Channel Capability permits 24 DS0-64 kbit/s services or 1.536 Mbit/s of information on the 1.544 Mbit/s line rate. Clear Channel Capability is available for LIS trunks equipped with SS7 Out-of-Band Signaling. Clear Channel Capability is only available on trunks to USWC’s access tandem switch or USWC’s end office switches (where available); (Clear Channel Capability is not available on trunks to USWC’s local tandem switches or end offices where it is currently not deployed. NAS agrees to use the Bona Fide Request process to request clear channel capability for such additional switches. Prices for such additional Clear Channel Capability, if any, will be established through the BFR Process). Clear Channel Capability must be requested on the order for the new LIS trunks. The provisioning of the LIS trunks equipped with Clear Channel Capability is the same as that used for Feature Group D Switched Access Service.
