Common use of Switching, Tagging and Grounding Clause in Contracts

Switching, Tagging and Grounding. In performing any work on circuit breaker B9756 or disconnect switch X0000, Xxxxxxx Xxxxxx shall comply with Con Edison's General Instructions Governing Work on System Electrical Equipment, as from time to time in effect (the "Con Edison Switching Rules"), promulgated pursuant to the requirements of 29 C.F.R. 1910.269, or any successor thereto or replacement thereof. Con Edison shall have no liability to Central Xxxxxx in connection with the compliance or noncompliance by Central Xxxxxx with the Con Edison Switching Rules and Central Xxxxxx agrees to hold Con Edison harmless from any liability as a result thereof.
