Sworn Law Enforcement Officers. 1. In the event of a positive test result, the submitting agency shall notify the officer of the results as soon as practical after receipt of the report from the State Toxicology Laboratory. Upon request, the officer may receive a copy of the laboratory report. 2. The officer shall be immediately suspended from all duties. The officer shall be administratively charged and, upon final disciplinary action, terminated from employment as a law enforcement officer. 3. The officer shall be reported to Central Drug Registry maintained by the Division of State Police by his or her employer. In addition, the officer shall be permanently barred from future law enforcement employment in New Jersey.
