Common use of Taxes, Charges and Assessments Clause in Contracts

Taxes, Charges and Assessments. Owner shall pay or cause to be paid (prior to delinquency): a. all taxes and charges on account of the use, occupancy or operation of the Property, including but not limited to all sales, use, occupation, real and personal property taxes, tax equivalents, all permit and inspection fees, occupation and license fees and all water, gas, electric light, power or other utility charges assessed or charged on or against the Property or on account of Owner’s use or occupancy thereof or the activities conducted thereon or therein; and b. all taxes, tax equivalents, assessments and impositions, general and special, ordinary and extraordinary, of every name and kind, which shall be taxed, levied, imposed or assessed upon all or any part of the Property, or the interest of Owner or THDA or Trustee or any of them in and to the Property.
