Taxes, Fees, etc. The Mortgagor will pay and discharge, or cause to be paid and discharged, when due and payable from time to time, all taxes, assessments, governmental charges, fines and penalties lawfully imposed on the Vessels, or any of them; provided that the Mortgagor shall not be required to pay any such tax, assessment or charge if the validity or amount thereof is concurrently being contested in good faith by appropriate proceedings and if the Mortgagor shall have set aside on its books reserves deemed by it adequate with respect to such tax, assessment or charge. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Mortgagor will pay or cause to be paid all such taxes, assessments or charges forthwith upon the commencement of proceedings to foreclose any Lien which is attached as security therefor.
