Common use of Taxes on Tenant’s Property and Business Clause in Contracts

Taxes on Tenant’s Property and Business. Tenant shall pay prior to delinquency all taxes levied or assessed by any local, state or federal authority upon the conduct of Tenant’s business in the Premises or upon Tenant’s Property and shall deliver satisfactory evidence of such payment to Landlord. If the assessed value of the Property is increased by the inclusion of a value placed upon Tenant’s Property, Tenant shall pay to Landlord, upon written demand, the taxes so levied against Landlord, or the portion of Landlord’s taxes resulting from said increase in assessment, as determined from time to time by Landlord.
