Teacher Signature, Right To Attach A Response And Right To A Meeting. The bargaining unit member must sign the evaluation, signifying only that the bargaining unit member has read the document, and has been provided the opportunity of attaching a written response that shall become part of the permanent record. Bargaining unit members may write on the evaluation form that a statement will be attached, and may take up to ten (10) school days to complete the statement if the unit member wishes the response to be discussed in the meeting with the evaluator before the last day of the teacher work year. Nothing in this Section 9.3.8 will be construed as a limitation upon a unit member’s ability to respond to an unsatisfactory evaluation and to have that response attached to the Summary Evaluation form.
