Technical Rehearsal. Your group has a maximum of three hours in your venue with your technician. You probably won’t have time to do a full run-through. This is your only opportunity to be in the space and to set cues in advance of your first performance. You may not enter the space before your tech time. We run a tight schedule, so we cannot offer extra time to visit the space. Your technician is your God(dess). Technicians have the final word on everything that happens in the venue. Please be kind to your technician, they’ll take care of you.

Technical Rehearsal. Costume Reminders-During the technical rehearsal, wear clothing that is close to the color of your performance costume. Do not wear WHITE or BLACK unless your character will be wearing white or black. This is for lighting purposes and helps the technical crew see how you will really look under certain lighting.

Technical Rehearsal. I understand that no absences will be excused for this rehearsal. This is a long but crucial rehearsal. Patience is needed from all involved. Attendance is mandatory. This rehearsal will be Sunday, December 2nd.
Technical Rehearsal. The first piano staging and/or “Piano Technical Rehearsal” will have the purpose of addressing safety, technical issues, scenery, costumes, spacing and lighting. This rehearsal is intended to achieve the smooth technical running of the production as well as address safety, including routes to get on/off stage, traffic and general orientation, and sufficient lighting shall be maintained on/off-stage for these purposes. Once a production’s technical and safety needs have been addressed, it is possible for the stage director to use the remaining time to rehearse scenes. Work lights will be maintained in the wings for this rehearsal.
