Common use of Technical Solutions Clause in Contracts

Technical Solutions. The Technical Solutions component of the Proposal shall describe Proposer’s approach to implementing the work and shall include a Design and Construction Plan, a Maintenance Plan, a Preliminary Project Baseline Schedule and additional associated information, as described in this Section 4.1. The Technical Solutions shall also include information with respect to approved ATCs, perceived added value items and the incorporation of new technologies as follows: (a) Specifically, for all ATCs, Proposer shall:  Specifically state whether any approved ATCs are included in the Proposal, with reference to the ATC identification number assigned by TxDOT; and  Describe how the ATC is used and provide cross-references to other elements of the Proposal that are affected by the ATC. (b) For perceived added value components of the Proposal, Proposer shall: Specifically identify characteristics of its Proposal which Proposer considers to improve upon the Project’s technical requirements, as set forth in the Development Agreement Documents and the CMA Documents, and which bring additional benefits and/or value to TxDOT and the public; and Provide an estimate of the value of such benefits.
