Common use of Telephone & telecommunications Clause in Contracts

Telephone & telecommunications. A telephone is not available on site. Should the Contractor require one, he is to make his own arrangements with the relevant authorities. Arrangements may be made with the Employers Representative to use telephones of the Station if they are available. Calls from these will be charged for at prevailing GPO rates. Should the Contractor wish to use radio communication equipment on site, he will make his own arrangements with the relevant authorities. In this case though, he is required to liase with the Head of Security at the Station to ensure that there is no interference with existing channels or equipment.
