Temporary Transfer Within The Bargaining Unit Clause Samples
The "Temporary Transfer Within The Bargaining Unit" clause defines the rules and procedures for temporarily assigning employees to different positions or roles within the same bargaining unit. Typically, this clause outlines the circumstances under which such transfers can occur, the duration of the transfer, and any changes to pay or working conditions that may result. For example, an employee might be temporarily moved to cover for a colleague on leave or to address short-term operational needs. The core function of this clause is to provide flexibility for the employer to manage staffing needs while ensuring that employees' rights and conditions are protected during temporary assignments.
