Tenancy Agreement. 2.1 This agreement makes you a tenant of Xxxxxx Keynes Council and sets outs the tenancy conditions. This tenancy agreement is a binding legal contract. a) This agreement does not remove any rights you have which are given to you by Acts of Parliament (statute law). b) These conditions of tenancy state the rights and duties of the tenant, and the Council and these rules must be followed at all times. c) When you take possession of the dwelling you will be bound by these terms, even if you have not signed the tenancy agreement. 2.2 This tenancy agreement applies to two types of tenancy a) an introductory tenancy; and b) a secure tenancy.
