Tenant Selection Procedures Clause Samples

The Tenant Selection Procedures clause outlines the criteria and process by which tenants are evaluated and chosen for a property. Typically, this involves specifying requirements such as background checks, creditworthiness, income verification, and references, as well as the steps the landlord or property manager will follow in reviewing applications. By establishing clear and consistent procedures, this clause helps ensure fairness, transparency, and compliance with applicable laws, reducing the risk of disputes or claims of discrimination during the tenant selection process.
