Tenneco Thrift Plan. The active participation in the Tenneco Thrift ------------------- Plan and the Tenneco Thrift Plan for Hourly Employees (collectively the "Tenneco DC Plan") by persons other than the Active Employees of the Packaging Group shall cease effective as of January 31, 2000 (the "Transition Date"). In addition, Automotive Company and all other members of that Group shall cease to be sponsors of the Tenneco DC Plan as of the Transition Date, and Packaging Company shall become the sponsor of the Tenneco DC Plan from and after the Transition Date. Automotive Group shall bear the costs of employer matching contributions attributable to the participation of its employees in the Tenneco DC Plan for the period commencing with the Distribution Date.
