TERM; EARLY TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT. This Agreement shall commence on the date of execution by County and shall terminate upon the earlier of the successful completion of the Work or (day[s], year[s], etc.) following the date of execution, unless extended in writing by mutual agreement of the parties. County reserves the right to terminate this Agreement with or without cause on ( days) written notice to Contractor. In the case of such early termination, Contractor shall be paid for all services satisfactorily rendered up to the effective date of termination, up to the maximum fee prescribed for any task. The County may immediately terminate this Agreement upon written notice to Contractor in the event Contractor, or any or its employees or subContractors, fails to provide, in any manner, the services required under this Agreement or otherwise fails to comply with the terms of this Agreement.
