Common use of TERM OF FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT Clause in Contracts

TERM OF FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT. 2.1 This Framework Agreement shall take effect on the 1 July 2013 (the “Commencement Date”) and save where extended pursuant to this Clause 2 shall expire twenty-four (24) months from the Commencement Date (the period between the Commencement Date and this date shall be known as the “Initial Term”); 2.2 The Authority may extend the duration of this Framework Agreement by up to two consecutive periods of twelve (12) months each (the “Extension Period”) by giving the Supplier no less than three (3) Months' written notice prior to the end of the Initial Term and subsequently by giving the Supplier no less than three (3) Months written notice and prior to the end of the first Extension Period. 2.3 References to the Term shall be the Initial Term inclusive of any Extension Period where applicable.
