Common use of TERM OF FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT Clause in Contracts

TERM OF FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT. ‌ 2.1 This Framework Agreement shall take effect on the 5 July 2012 (the “Commencement Date”) and shall expire two (2) years after the Commencement Date, unless it is terminated earlier in accordance with the terms of this Framework Agreement or otherwise by operation of Law (“Term”). 2.2 At the end of the Term described at clause above, the Authority shall have the option of extending this Framework Agreement on the same terms for a further period of up to six (6) months (‘the Extension Period’) with a further option to extend for further six (6) month periods from the conclusion of any Extension Period (‘a Subsequent Extension Period’). If the Authority intends to exercise this option it shall give notice to such effect to the Supplier no later than three (3) months prior to the date upon which this Framework Agreement would otherwise expire and such notice shall include details of the duration of the relevant extension.
