Common use of Terminated Participant Clause in Contracts

Terminated Participant. Upon a Participant’s or Former Participant’s termination of employment with the Company for any reason other than retirement, death or Permanent Disability, the Company shall promptly notify the Plan Administrator in writing of such fact and such Participant shall become (a) a Terminated Participant if such Participant has not attained retirement age (as provided in Section 8.1), or (b) a Retired Participant if such Participant has attained retirement age (as provided in Section 8.1). In the event a Terminated Participant has attained retirement age, the provisions of Article VIII shall thereafter apply to such Participant.
