Termination by the Company After Notice of Resignation. Executive may voluntarily terminate his employment hereunder at any time, effective 90 days after delivery to the Company of Executive’s signed, written resignation. The Company may accept said resignation and, at its option, terminate Executive’s employment before the end of such 90-day period; provided, if Executive has given such 90 days notice, then the Company shall pay Executive, in lieu of waiting for passage of the notice period and in addition to the amounts payable to Executive pursuant to Section 6 below, an amount equal to the salary that would have been paid to Executive through the end of the notice period had his actual employment continued. Any such amount payable by the Company (in lieu of waiting for the passage of the notice period) for the period after Executive’s actual termination of employment shall be paid in a single lump-sum cash payment within 30 days after the date of Executive’s actual termination of employment.
