Common use of Termination of Awardee’s Continuous Status as an Employee Clause in Contracts

Termination of Awardee’s Continuous Status as an Employee. Except as otherwise specified in Section 5 and 6 below, in the event of termination of Awardee’s Continuous Status as an employee of the Company, Awardee’s rights under this Award Agreement in any unvested SUAs shall terminate. For purposes of this Award Agreement, an Awardee’s Continuous Status as an employee shall mean the absence of any interruption or termination of service as an employee. Continuous Status as an employee shall not be considered interrupted in the case of sick leave or leave of absence for which Continuous Status is not considered interrupted as determined by the Company in its sole discretion.
