The Research Term shall end on [***], unless the Research Program is otherwise extended or terminated in accordance with this Fifth Amendment (the “Research Termination Date”). After the Research Termination Date, CFFT shall be responsible to fund only those expenses that do not exceed the Second Generation Corrector Research Budget for activities initiated by Vertex prior to the Research Termination Date and for which Vertex has either incurred non-terminable obligations to a Third Party, or which require a minimal amount of time and/or resources to complete after the Research Termination Date.
