Common use of Termination or Transfer of Permits and Licenses Clause in Contracts

Termination or Transfer of Permits and Licenses. No later than thirty (30) days after the expiration or termination of this Agreement for any reason whatsoever, or at such other time as AWVMC may direct, Independent Contractor shall release the licenses and permits required by law for the performance of the Work under this Agreement, if any, and take all other steps necessary to terminate such licenses or permits or, at AWVMC's option, to assign, transfer and convey these licenses or permits to AWVMC or its designee.
