Common use of Test on standard software Clause in Contracts

Test on standard software. An employee who applies for a position shall not have to undergo a test regarding his knowledge of the standard software used at the College for which he holds a certificate of competency issued by the College corresponding to the level of knowledge required by the College. Each year, the College offers employees the opportunity to take tests to determine their level of knowledge of the standard software. On the basis of this evaluation, the College shall issue the employee a certificate of competency stating their level of knowledge. This certificate shall be valid for a period of two (2) years. The parties may agree by local agreement to modify this clause.
