Common use of Testifying for the Association Clause in Contracts

Testifying for the Association. Bargaining Unit Members who participate in arbitration or fact–finding hearings on behalf of the Association shall do so without loss of pay. The Employer and the Association shall divide equally the cost of the substitute if, in fact, a substitute is employed. This section shall be null and void if a work stoppage is in effect at the time of the arbitration or fact–finding.
