Common use of Testing for Alcohol and Drugs Will Be Undertaken Clause in Contracts

Testing for Alcohol and Drugs Will Be Undertaken. Testing for alcohol and drugs for employees will be undertaken in the following circumstances: (a) Where required by a regulatory authority; (b) Where there are reasonable grounds based on observations by the responsible manager of deteriorating work performance or any abnormal conduct or behaviour; (c) Immediately following a serious incident; (d) Where an Employee or Contractor may have or has breached safety precautions or procedures; (e) Where an Employee or Contractor is reasonably suspected of having contravened the Policy; (f) Random testing, (utilising saliva based testing procedures).
