Tests and Inspections. A. Unless otherwise provided in the Contract Documents, the Contractor shall be responsible for scheduling, compliance and costs associated with all tests or inspections required by local authorities having jurisdiction over the Project. The Contractor shall give the Owner Notice immediately in the event of failure of any test or inspection. In calling for inspections, the Contractor certifies that the Work being called for inspection meets the Contract and all code requirements for completeness and quality and shall bear all expense arising from any failed inspection, whether incurred by Owner, Contractor, or any third party. B. Irrespective of any third party inspections, the Contractor remains responsible for any after discovered defects in Work and is fully responsible for any delays and costs associated with such defective, insufficient or non-compliant Work.
