Texas Corporate Franchise Taxes. Pursuant to Texas Tax Code, Chapter 171, Subchapter F, for-profit corporations that are delinquent in making state franchise tax payments shall forfeit their corporate privileges and the right to transact business in this state. The Grantee certifies that if the Grantee’s business entity is a for- profit corporation it is not delinquent in its franchise tax payments to the State of Texas.
