THE AGENTS AND THE JOINT LEAD ARRANGERS. 21.1 Appointment and duties of the Agents Each Finance Party (other than the Agent) irrevocably appoints the Agent to act as its agent under and in connection with the Finance Documents and each Swingline Bank appoints the US Swingline Agent to act as its agent in relation to the US Swingline Facility, and each Finance Party irrevocably authorises the Agent or, as the case may be, the US Swingline Agent on its behalf to perform the duties and to exercise the rights, powers and discretions that are specifically delegated to it under or in connection with the Finance Documents, together with any other incidental rights, powers and discretions. The Agent or, as the case may be, the US Swingline Agent shall have only those duties which are expressly specified in this Agreement. Those duties are solely of a mechanical and administrative nature.
