The Employer's policies. work rules, directives, and regulations shall not violate any provisions of this Agreement. Any complaint involving a conflict between the terms of the Agreement and a policy, rule or regulation may be resolved through the Grievance Procedure. All rules and regulations, special notices and bulletins pertaining to specific articles of this Agreement shall be discussed with the Union and the Employer before adoption as Police Department policies, rules and regulations. Any policy change shall be signed as received by the Union president or vice president prior to its effective date.
