The Xxxx/ Administrator’s Recommendation. (1) The Xxxx/Administrator shall review the recommendations of the DPC, the Chair and the FTPC for the following purposes: (a) to assess the reasonableness of the Chair’s, the DPC’s and the FTPC’s evaluations and recommendations by assessing the Member’s overall record of performance using the appropriate conditions and criteria pursuant to this article; and (b) to ensure that procedural fairness was maintained throughout the evaluation process. (2) If the Xxxx/Administrator determines that any evaluative body has made an unreasonable determination he/she may request from the Member, the DPC, the Chair/ Director or the FTPC any further supporting information that the Xxxx/ Administrator deems necessary. Additional information may be provided in person or in writing at the option of the. Member, the DPC, or the FTPC. When appearing before the Xxxx/ Administrator, the Member shall have the right to be accompanied by another Member. (3) If they are not in agreement, by March 31, the Xxxx/ Administrator shall meet with the FTPC to exchange information about their respective recommendations. In cases where the Xxxx/ Administrator is prepared: (a) to make a positive recommendation which coincides with a positive recommendation of the FTPC, the Xxxx/ Administrator shall forward his/her recommendation to the Vice-President (Academic) pursuant to the provisions of Clause 25.10; (i) to make a different recommendation, whether positive or negative, based on additional documentation from the Member's personnel file, the Xxxx/Administrator shall, by March 31, send a copy of the additional documentation to the FTPC, and shall notify the Member of the material being sent; (ii) The Member shall have five (5) working days during which he/she may respond and/or select additional documentation from his/her personnel file. The Member's response and/or additional documentation shall be forwarded to the Xxxx/Administrator with a copy to the FTPC. The documentation, response, and/or additional documentation shall be attached to the Member's application; no additional copies shall be made. (iii) The FTPC shall meet with the Xxxx/ Administrator and the Member to discuss the additional documentation. The FTPC’s recommendation revised or not, shall be forwarded to the Xxxx/Administrator by April 15. The Xxxx/ Administrator shall then forward his/her recommendation to the Vice-President (Academic) pursuant to the provisions of Clause 25.10; (b) to make a negative recommendation to the Vice-President (Academic), whether the FTPC’s recommendation was positive or negative, the Member shall be notified, in writing, by March 31, and given the opportunity to meet with the Xxxx/Administrator to discuss the recommendation within ten (10) working days of the notification. The Member shall have the right to be accompanied by another Member. The Member should supply a written statement of the items to be discussed. The Xxxx/Administrator shall then forward his/her recommendation to the Vice-President (Academic).

(iii) The Member shall have five (5) working days Working Days during which he/she may respond and/or select additional documentation from his/her personnel file. The Member's response and/or additional documentation shall be forwarded to the Xxxx/Administrator with a copy to the FTPC. The documentation, response, and/or additional documentation shall be attached to the Member's application; no additional copies shall be made.
