Common use of Thin-Client/Remote CSTB Clause in Contracts

Thin-Client/Remote CSTB. A CSTB that is designed to interface between a CSTB and a TV (or other output device) that has no ability to interface with the Service Provider directly and relies solely on a Cable, Satellite, IP or Terrestrial CSTB for content. Any CSTB that meets the definition of Cable, Satellite, IP or Terrestrial CSTB is not a Thin-Client/Remote CSTB. If the CSTB base functionality is not cable, satellite, terrestrial or IP, and the CSTB otherwise meets the definition of Thin-Client/Remote, the base functionality is defined to be thin-client/remote.
