Third-Party Checks. Third-party checks deposited through Mobile Deposit may be rejected. All Check Images submitted for deposit must be payable to you and not to a third-party. In the event a third-party Check Image is received, a Substitute Check will be returned to you through the U.S. Postal Service mail and the deposit will be not be processed. Neither Platform nor the Bank will be liable for any Substitute Checks that may become lost in the mail. Both Platform and the Bank reserve the right to reject a Mobile Deposit if it is made payable to the Bank and contains no means to identify the Account to which it should be credited.

Third-Party Checks. A third party check is defined as a check endorsed by its payee to another entity who becomes its holder. The Credit Union reserves the right not to cash or deposit any third party checks for which you are the holder unless all the signers are present and their signatures can be verified with a valid form of identification. The Credit Union may cash or deposit third party checks for you as a guardian for a minor and that minor is the payee.
Third-Party Checks. BNY Mellon shall not accept any third party check (i.e., an investment check whose payee is other than the Fund or BNY Mellon) except pursuant to Written Instructions.
