Common use of Third Party Signaling Providers Clause in Contracts

Third Party Signaling Providers. NEN may choose a third-party SS7 signaling provider to transport messages to and from the GTE SS7 network. In that event, that third party provider must present a letter of agency to GTE, prior to the testing of the interconnection, authorizing the third party to act on behalf of NEN in transporting SS7 messages to and from GTE. The third-party provider must interconnect with the GTE STP(s) serving the LATA in which the traffic exchange trunk groups are interconnected.
