Common use of Time Computations Clause in Contracts

Time Computations. When computing any period of time, the day of the event from which the period of time begins shall not be counted. The last day is counted unless it falls on a weekend or legal holiday in the State of Washington, in which event the period runs until the end of the next day that is not a weekend or holiday. When the period of time allowed is less than seven (7) days, intermediate Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays are excluded from the computation.
