Common use of Time Off for Dispute Resolution Clause in Contracts

Time Off for Dispute Resolution. If an employee desires the assistance of a representative of the Association in resolving a dispute, the City agrees to permit not more than two (2) Association representatives reasonable time off during regular work hours without loss of compensation or other benefits for this purpose. The employee and/or the authorized Association representative(s) shall obtain the approval of their immediate supervisors or other authorized department supervisors before leaving their duty, work stations, or assignment for the purpose of resolving a dispute.
