Time Parameters. A nurse shall request the supervisor of his/her unit to schedule time off by giving notice in writing to the staffing office at least two (2) full four-week work cycles but not more than six (6) cycles prior to the date when the earliest schedule covering such time off is to be posted. The Medical Center will respond in writing to such request no later than thirty (30) days after receipt of the request. Preference for available time off on the nurse’s unit and shift will be given to the request for same received on the earliest date by the staffing office.
Time Parameters. In determining the time within which any step is to be taken under the foregoing provisions of this article, Saturdays, Sundays, and Statutory Holidays shall be excluded. Any and all time limits fixed by this article may at any time be extended by agreement in writing between the Corporation and the SEA. In the event that the aggrieved party fails to meet the time limit agreed to, the grievance shall be deemed to have been abandoned and Section 37(5a) of The Labour Relations Act will not apply. In the event that management fails to meet the time limit agreed to, then the grievor shall have satisfaction.
Time Parameters. PTO requests that in whole or in part fall within a prime time period will be held and considered as a pool to be approved within one week following the end of the request period for that prime time period. There are four (4) distinct prime time periods:
a. Spring Break: the Friday previous to Spring Break through Sunday of Spring Break. The request period is from August 1 to August 31.
b. Summer: the Friday previous to Memorial Day through Labor Day. The request period is from November 1 to November 30.
c. Thanksgiving Break: the Monday prior to Thanksgiving through the Sunday after Thanksgiving. The request period is from April 1 to April 30.
d. Winter Holiday: starting December 20 through January 1. The request period is from May 1 to May 31.
Time Parameters. A nurse shall request the supervisor of his/her 14 program to schedule time off by giving notice electronically not more than six 15 months prior to the posting date of the earliest schedule covering such time off.
Time Parameters. Date to Proceed: Consultant is to begin work under this Agreement on [Insert date here]. (The date the Consultant is notified of selection.)
1. Preliminary design plans including type/size/location for all structures (preliminary design) [and detail elements for a design public hearing and construction right-of-way needs] shall be completed and accepted on or before [Insert date here] or [Insert days] calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed (whichever is greater). Final design, contract plans and specifications and estimates shall be completed and accepted on or before [Insert date here]. The ending date for this agreement shall be [Insert date here]. (Consider using 60 days from item 2 or C2 date as applicable)
Time Parameters. The necessity for a bed hold becomes effective as soon as the resident is absent from the facility for a hospitalization and is admitted.
Time Parameters. The purpose of this process is to assure prompt and equitable solutions to the problems arising from the administration of this Agreement or other conditions of employment. Such promptness is an essential element. Failure of a grievant to meet any of the calendar limitations stipulated in the procedure below will constitute a waiver of his/her rights to claim grievance on the basis of the same alleged factual situation. Likewise, a failure on the part of a representative of the Employer to meet the obligations of any step in the grievance procedure within the prescribed period of time will give the grievant an automatic right to proceed to the next available step in that procedure. Time limits provided in this Article may be extended by mutual agreement of the parties. It is understood, however, that nothing contained in this procedure should be construed as limiting the right or propriety of a member of the bargaining unit to discuss any problem informally with an appropriate member of the administration.

Time Parameters. 1.4.1 The Consultant shall begin work under this Agreement upon receipt of a written notice to proceed from the Owner.
1.4.2 Milestones for completion of the work under this Agreement as follows:
1. Preliminary design plans including type/size/location for all structures (preliminary design) and detail elements for a design public hearing and construction right-of-way needs shall be completed and accepted on or before [Insert date here] or [Insert days] calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed (whichever is greater).
2. Final design, contract plans and specifications and estimates shall be completed and in a form acceptable to the Owner on or before [Insert date here].
3. Completion of all work under this agreement shall be on or before [Insert date here] unless extended by written approval of the Contract Administrator or adjusted by supplemental agreement.
1.4.3 The Consultant shall not begin final design activities until after the Owner has been notified by the Iowa DOT that FHWA Environmental Concurrence has been obtained. Upon receipt of such notice, the Owner will provide the Consultant notice to proceed with final design activities.
Time Parameters. 16.6.1.1 Upon hiring or when job description is revised, each unit member shall be given a current copy of her/his job description, which shall form, in part, the basis of her/his evaluation.
16.6.1.2 Prior to October 15 of an evaluation year, the unit member shall meet individually with her/his evaluator. The evaluatee shall be given a copy of the “Conference Meeting Form” and her/his job description.
16.6.1.3 Any new unit member or any unit member returning from an approved leave of absence after the beginning of the regular work year shall meet with her/his evaluator within six weeks of her/his first working day. If a unit member is transferred or reassigned during the school year, the evaluator shall meet with the unit member to determine if an evaluation is necessary and under what circumstances.
