Time, Place and Manner of Interviews. Examinations Conducted at the Internal Affairs Section A. Any interview or examination conducted by the Internal Affairs Section pursuant to sections 30.3 and 30.4 of this Article shall take place at the Internal Affairs Section office, the Union Office, or at any other place to which the parties mutually agree. B. Employees interviewed or examined pursuant to sections 30.3 and 30.4 of this Article shall be provided with reasonable breaks. C. The employee, and at the employee’s discretion, the union, shall be notified by the investigating official in writing of the alleged charges or conduct for which the employee is being investigated upon notification of interview/examination being scheduled. An email communication is sufficient to meet the writing requirement under this section.
