Common use of Title to Vessel Clause in Contracts

Title to Vessel. The Mortgagor is the sole, true and lawful owner and is lawfully possessed of the Vessel, and the Mortgagor owns all right, title and interest in and to the Vessel free and clear of all complaints in rem, libels, liens (maritime or otherwise), charges, claims, security interests, mortgages or other encumbrances of any kind or nature except in favor of Mortgagee.

Title to Vessel. The Mortgagor is the sole, true and lawful owner and is lawfully possessed of the Vessel, and the Mortgagor owns all right, title and interest in and to the Vessel free and clear of all complaints in rem, libels, liens (maritime or otherwise), charges, claims, security interests, mortgages or other encumbrances of any kind or nature except in favor of Mortgageefor Permitted Liens.
