Working with Chemicals ● Always wear safety goggles, closed toed-shoes and lab coat when you, or others in the lab, are working with chemicals. ● Only remove safety goggles and lab coat when you are told to do so. Keep them on at ALL times during the activity! ● Do not mix any chemicals unless directed to do so in a lab procedure. ● Never taste or smell any chemicals unless directed to do so. ● Inform your teacher immediately if you spill any chemicals or get chemicals on your skin or in your eyes. ● Know where the eyewash station and safety shower are located in the lab.
