Torso. 3.4.1. In vehicles equipped with bench seats, the upper torso of the passenger test dummy shall rest against the seat back. The midsagittal plane of the passenger dummy shall be vertical and parallel to the vehicle's longitudinal centreline and the same distance from the vehicle's longitudinal centreline as the midsagittal plane of the driver dummy.
