Common use of Trade Differentials Clause in Contracts

Trade Differentials. Employees whose pay is determined by a differential over and above the pay of members of other unions with whom they work or by the contract provisions of other unions, shall be paid the greater of either the amount of the floor-rate or the amount that the salary range for their job group would provide after application of general increases and applicable length-of-service increases, in accordance with Subsection 4.04(f) below. The following jobs shall involve pay differentials as defined above. The list of jobs and the relevant floor-rate are subject to change by mutual agreement between the Employer and the Union. The appropriate floor-rate and conditions related thereto shall be negotiated and set out on trade differential sheets. Instructor Chief Instructor
