Common use of TRADE DIVISIONS Clause in Contracts

TRADE DIVISIONS. Segregation of the Specifications into the designated trade divisions is only for the purpose of facilitating descriptions and shall not be considered as limiting the work of any subcontract or trade. Subject to other necessary provisions set forth in the Specifications, the terms and conditions of such limitations or inclusions shall lie solely between the Contractor and its Subcontractors. "Scope" as indicated in each section of the Specifications shall serve only as a general guide to what is included in that section. Neither the stated description nor the division of the plans and Specifications to various sections, which is done solely for convenience, shall be deemed to limit the work required, divide or indicate it by labor jurisdiction or trade practice, or set up any bidding barriers to the various sub-contractors or suppliers.
