Common use of Trade Restrictions Clause in Contracts

Trade Restrictions. (i) Supplier Covenants that it shall not sell, distribute, disclose, release, receive or otherwise transfer any item or technical data provided under this Order to or from: (A) any country designated as a “State Sponsor of Terrorism” or “SST” by the U.S. Department of State, (B) any entity located in, or owned by an entity located in a SST country, or (C) any person or entity listed on the “Specifically Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons” list maintained by the U.S. Department of Treasury or on the Consolidated List – Canada maintained by the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions of Canada.. This clause shall apply regardless of the legality of such a transaction under local law.
