COUNTY has established a Traffic Violator Apprehension Program [“the 16 Program”], which is operated by SHERIFF, and is designed to reduce 17 vehicle accidents caused by unlicensed drivers and drivers whose licenses 18 are suspended and to educate the public about the requirements of the 19 Vehicle Code and related safety issues with regard to driver licensing, 20 vehicle registration, vehicle operation, and vehicle parking. TRAFFIC VIOLATOR APPREHENSION PROGRAM. 15 1. COUNTY has established a Traffic Violator Apprehension Program [“the 16 Program”], which is operated by SHERIFF, and is designed to reduce 17 vehicle accidents caused by unlicensed drivers and drivers whose licenses 18 are suspended and to educate the public about the requirements of the 19 Vehicle Code and related safety issues with regard to driver licensing, 20 vehicle registration, vehicle operation, and vehicle parking.
