The 'Training outside working hours' clause establishes the conditions under which employees may be required or permitted to attend training sessions that occur beyond their regular work schedule. Typically, this clause outlines whether such training is mandatory or voluntary, and clarifies if and how employees will be compensated for their time, such as through overtime pay or time off in lieu. Its core function is to ensure transparency and fairness regarding expectations and compensation for work-related training that takes place outside normal working hours, thereby preventing misunderstandings and potential disputes.
Training outside working hours. Any training is in principle provided during working hours. If, exceptionally, the training takes place outside working hours, reference must be made to the provisions of Art. L. 542-10 et seq. of the Labour Code.
Training outside working hours. All training generally takes place during working hours. If, in exceptional circumstances, training were to take place outside working hours, reference should be made to the provisions of Article L. 542-7 et seq. of the Luxembourg Labour Code. Time spent on e-learning at the request of the employer outside working hours will be considered as overtime under the conditions set out in Articles 6 and 6bis of this Agreement. It must first be validated by the hierarchy and may not exceed 20 hours per year.
