Training Seminar. Effective 1/1/06: The Employer agrees to pay up to two (2) Stewards or an employee appointed by the Union per store, two (2) days of pay at the employee’s base wage rate, not to exceed eight (8) hours per day, one time per calendar year.

Training Seminar. Those employees who participate in the Skills and Interests Inventory will be given the opportunity to attend a seminar. Time spent by employees at the seminar will be during scheduled working hours. The Seminar will generally include one or more of the following: Job exhibits which will provide information and basic requirements, including physical requirements, for anticipated job vacancies within the Company. An overview of the various procedures available to employees who wish to apply for job vacancies. A basic explanation of qualifying tests (how to prepare for, typical contents, sample questions, etc.). Home study and developmental study program outlines. List of approved courses and facilities offering such courses. An overview of additional educational self-development opportunities available to employees, through technical school and community college programs, etc. When the Company determines it appropriate, field visits and/or follow up individual or group counseling.   • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend.

  • Training Services Training Services may include pre-packaged training Products, and/or the development or customization of training programs as requested, including Live Training, Computer Based/Multi-Media Training which encompasses Internet-Delivered Training, and/or Video Based Training.

  • Training Opportunities The requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, 12 U.S.C. 1701u ("Section 3"), requiring that to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for training and employment be given to lower income residents of the project area and agreements for work in connection with the project be awarded to business concerns which are located in, or owned in substantial part by persons residing in, the areas of the project. Borrower agrees to include the following language in all subcontracts executed under this Agreement:

  • Interview A new employee will have the opportunity to meet with a representative of the Union in the employ of the Hospital for a period of up to minutes during the employee's orientation period without loss of regular earnings. The purpose of the meeting will be to acquaint the employee with such representative of the Union and the collective agreement. Such meetings may be arranged collectively or individually for employees by the Hospital as part of the orientation program."
