Common use of Transaction Monitoring Systems Clause in Contracts

Transaction Monitoring Systems. Pershing shall make available to Broker various information pertinent to Broker’s anti-money laundering efforts, including certain systematic transaction monitoring tools such as The Rules EngineTM anti-money laundering rules. Pershing will provide training in the use of such system to assist Broker in detecting suspicious activity and in screening electronic customer account data stored by Pershing on behalf of Broker against various databases through third-party service providers, for purposes of detecting names of OFAC prohibited individuals, entities in countries and other adverse information about the customer (“negative verification”).
