Common use of TRANSFER BY LANDLORD Clause in Contracts

TRANSFER BY LANDLORD. In the event of the transfer and assignment by Landlord of its interest in this Lease and in the Project to a person expressly assuming Landlord's obligations under this Lease, Landlord shall thereby be released from any further obligations hereunder, and Tenant agrees to look solely to such successor in interest of the Landlord for performance of such obligations. Any security given by Tenant to secure performance of Tenant's obligations hereunder may be assigned and transferred by Landlord to such successor in interest, and Landlord shall thereby be discharged of any further obligation relating thereto.

TRANSFER BY LANDLORD. In the event of the transfer and assignment by Landlord of its interest in this Lease and in the Project to a person expressly assuming Landlord's obligations under this Lease, Landlord shall thereby be released from any further obligations hereunder, and Tenant Xxxxxx agrees to look solely to such successor in interest of the Landlord for performance of such obligations. Any security given by Tenant Xxxxxx to secure performance of TenantXxxxxx's obligations hereunder may be assigned and transferred by Landlord to such successor in interest, and Landlord shall thereby be discharged of any further obligation relating thereto.

In the event of the transfer and assignment by Landlord of its interest in this Lease and in the Project Building to a person expressly assuming Landlord's obligations under this Lease, Landlord shall thereby be released from any further obligations hereunderhereunder after the effective date of the transfer, and Tenant agrees to look solely to such successor in successor-in-interest of the Landlord for performance of such obligations. Any security In addition, as described more fully in Section 27.3 of this Lease, any Security Deposit given by Tenant to secure performance of Tenant's obligations hereunder may be assigned and transferred by Landlord to such successor in successor-in-interest, and Landlord shall thereby be discharged of any further obligation relating thereto.

Any security given by Tenant to secure performance of Tenant's obligations hereunder may be assigned and transferred by Landlord to such successor in interest, and Landlord shall thereby be discharged of any further obligation relating thereto.
